Long Weekend Ride to Pensacola Scooter Rally 9/25-27/'09

The ride will be leaving from Shoney's Resturaunt of Hattiesburg at 8AM on Friday 9/25/09. It will join up with groups from Louisiana (Sand Trek) and the Mississippi Gulf Coast. From there the ride will be on Scenic 90 to Mobile, on down to Dauphin Island, then crossing the bay to Florida on the Dauphin Island Ferry. Final destination will be The White Sand Mayhem Scooter Rally. We will set the pace to accomodate the slowest bike.

This going to be one heck of a great ride. On top of that it will be one full weekend of organized group rides and events in and around beautiful Pensacola Florida hosted by the The Pensacola Scooter Club. There are choices for accomodations. Camping and Hotel/Motel are available in the area. Another choice is Cottages on the Green. It is located on Perdido Bay Golf Course near Big Lagoon State Park. It actually does have reasonable rates. The Pensacola Scooter Club is also checking into rally discounts or group rates with some of the hotels. Will update this site when finalized.

This is the Sand Trek route that members of ScootNewOrleans and ScootLouisiana are taking. We are working on a scooter friendly and also fun ride that will probably join up with them probably near Gautier. Possibly The Shed.
